Winter

Bare and dripping, the promise of spring life visible against the grey winter sky.

Just like Wellington, really (though the last couple of days have been great). :-)

I have only been to Wellington twice. Once when I was quite young and I hardly remember anything except it was hilly. The second time I was a young mother with an 18-month old who screamed all through Wellington airport! I got on the ferry and headed south, so didn’t see much of Wellington, but I remember being air sick and sea sick that trip! Never flew into Wellington again! :)

The Wellington airport approach keeps hitting YouTube as the worst in the world. And it is up there… Funny thing is, they’re putting up a sign now, out there, celebrating Wellington as the windy city. Buy it isn’t actually very windy. Used to be – but not now. Climate’s shifted a bit.

Haven’t you heard, Matthew? There is no such thing as climate change!

I agree with shifted – the seasons have shifted. March is no longer autumn here, it is the end of summer! December is no longer summer, it is still spring!

One of the main reasons I have not been tempted to live in the UK! I like my sunshine! When it is spring, I will take another shot of the same tree for comparison.

I am sorry your spring was so dull! You still took some amazing photos, though!
