Happy Birthday Mr O Jnr 2
This week we celebrated a few things: not the least of which was a birthday!
Here he is about to blow out the candles. I am guessing, but I think his wish was that when we find a bigger house, it has a dishwasher! As we are house hunting, that is the ONLY thing Mr O Jnr 2 checks – he doesn’t care about how many toilets or built-in wardrobes – just that new house MUST have a dishwasher!
So far in June we have celebrated the anniversary of the arrival, My O Jnr 2′s birthday, my sister’s birthday and on Tuesday it will be my birthday.
This is Mr O Jnr 2′s second birthday in Australia, so he is an old hand at it now. He did have a special request to go back to the countryside for his birthday, but we just could not organise it in time. Maybe another trip to the snow is in order this year, as our brief visit last year did not see much snow, it was the end of the season.
Children grow so fast. So very fast.

Sorry, Robyn, I haven’t look at your posts recently. Thanks for coming across to my site! It’s early morning and I’m not quite awake yet. Dark and wet outside! But as soon as I found this happy picture of Mr O Jnr 2, I smiled. What a lovely photo! It really made my day. I wish him many, many Happy Returns!.
Thank you! Oh, I have been the same, Uta – there are just not enough hours in the day for me at the moment and I am being terribly remiss in my visits. I miss reading everyone’s work but I can only to what I can do. I do have to sleep sometimes!
Thanks for your response, Robyn.
My husband was just telling me he read a headline in the news about teenagers coming tired to school because of staying up at all hours rather than going to bed when they should.
These days I love to go to bed early. But when I was a teenager, I remember my mother getting angry with me because I didn’t catch enough sleep!
Well, Robyn, with all the responsibilities surrounding you, I hope you’ll still be
able to catch your beauty sleep more often than not! Wishing you and your
beautiful family very lovely dreaming and enjoyment in everything you’re
doing!
I am a firm believer in enough sleep, especially for brain development.
I think I recently read a similar article, about kids falling asleep in class. To many kids these days have computers and TVs in their rooms and don’t sleep when they should. That wasn’t a happening thing when we were kids!
Now, here I am again. Just read some of the messages, finding out about your birthday. Want to wish you, dear Robyn, belatedly a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Thank you very much! Mr O and I are heading out for a drink tonight with friends – celebrating during the week really wasn’t possible!
WHAT a Cutie! Happy Birthday to your special young man!
Thanks, Beth, yes he is definitely a cutie!
“Happy Birthday to you O jr!

Thanks Elizabeth! Hope you and your family are all well. I am so far behind, it isn’t remotely funny, but I have two days off added onto the weekend (one for Queen’s Birthday and one for my own birthday) so I am going to try to catch up!
Wish him a happy birthday for me Robyn…he is so handsome and yes they do grow up so quickly
He’ll be 18 before we blink, I think. They are all growing so fast. If Mr O Jnr 1 doesn’t stop growing soon, he will be taller than his father.
A happy and handsome young man
He liked the cake, too – an added bonus!
What a cutie pie. Happy Birthday to him
Very cutie pie, Trinity!
Thank you!

Have a great day…
This was a little after his birthday, but we won’t tell anyone. We had such a busy week, he received cards and cuddles on his actual birthday. Cake and singing came later!
His big brother gave a lovely speech on his birthday and gave hom a present bought from his own pocket-money. We were very impressed!
I’m, also impressed with his big brother. That is a real gift
What a fabulous smilie face! Same as Sami, I’m moving on so Happy B’s to all.
I see you did not call yourself “restless” for nothing Jo.
Thank you from both of us!
Happy birthday to O jnr 2! I hope he gets his dishwasher, it’s hard work washing by hand, specially for a big family, lol.
I know it’s not the done thing to congratulate people before, but because I’m on the move, in-between countries, I might not get a chance to access a computer, so Happy birthday for Tuesday, Robyn.
Thank you Sami, from us both! No worries here about early greetings. Safe travelling to you!
