I remember your touch, so gentle yet strong
I remember your voice, so soft and so sad
I remember your kisses so perfect
My ears still hear your heartbeat
My eyes still see your face
My heart still feels your love
My fingers trace the pillow, searching for your warmth
My eyes search the darkness, waiting for your touch
My teardrops fall, alone in the dark
The sadness in your voice
Stretches across the miles
The pain in our apartness
They do not understand, I do not ask them to
All they have to do is believe in you and I
As I, my husband, believe in you
